A new support model was explained to producers in Buldan.

An information meeting about the New Support Model and Agricultural Production Planning implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry was held in Buldan, Denizli.

The meeting, which took place in Buldan, was part of the plant production support to be implemented between 2025-2027. The support measures, which were published in the Official Gazette dated August 29, 2024, and the Agricultural Production Planning that came into effect on September 14, 2023, were discussed in the meeting attended by Buldan District Governor Turan Erdoğan, Denizli Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Şakir Çınar, Buldan District Director Serdal Uğur, Chamber of Agriculture President Muammer Al, neighborhood muhtars of Buldan, cooperative presidents, representatives of various non-governmental organizations, and producers. In the meeting, the new support model for plant and animal production was discussed in detail.

In a presentation during the meeting, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Şakir Çınar emphasized the importance of Agricultural Production Planning and the supports. Director Çınar explained in detail the strategic products identified in Buldan within the framework of the plant production plan and the supports given to these products. “The diesel and fertilizer support has not been removed; on the contrary, it has been increased. Similarly, livestock supports were also explained in detail,” he said.

With the new support model, the support rates for 13 strategic products and the feed crops group determined by the Ministry were also discussed in the meeting. Çınar stated that farmers would receive more support if they produced within the planning framework, saying, “It is very important for our producers to reach accurate information and not to trust false information. Especially, care should be taken against false news spreading on social media.”

Provincial Director Şakir Çınar stated that they are always by the side of producers as the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, saying, “I would like to emphasize once again that we are the supporters of production and producers. We aim to ensure sustainability in agricultural production by working hand in hand with our producers.”
