The store manager, Bahadır Ablak, mentioned that they sell gold pacifiers starting from 4,230 liras, and that citizens purchase them as gifts for their grandchildren and newborns of close relatives. Bahadır Ablak, the store sales manager, stated that the price of a gold pacifier is similar to that of a quarter gold but will be a beautiful gift with memories attached. “We have been selling gold pacifiers and products like baby bottles for about 3 years. People have started to move away from jewelry items as they focus more on products aimed at investment. To change this, we began selling these products. Everyone wants to give something to their children and grandchildren, but their financial situation may not allow it. Even someone on a minimum wage struggles to buy a 4,000 lira quarter gold. The pacifier you just saw is close to the value of a quarter gold, but when you buy it for your grandchild or a close relative’s child, it can be a keepsake for them. Years later, that child can look back at this memory and think, ‘I was valued this much.'”

Ablak stated that it would not harm the delicate bodies of babies, saying, “When you request a 14-carat gold pacifier from me, you can get it for 4,230 liras. Our gold pacifiers are TSE patented.
