“Isparta City Hospital has served 13 million citizens in 8 years”

Isparta Provincial Health Director Dr. Mustafa Serhat Küçükcoşkun stated in an interview with IHA that Isparta City Hospital has served approximately 13 million citizens since its opening in 2017, saying, “One of the city hospitals that our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan describes as his ‘passion’ has been providing services in Isparta since March 2017. We take pride in providing reliable and easily accessible healthcare services to our citizens. Since March 2017, Isparta City Hospital has provided examination services to approximately 3 million emergency cases and 10 million outpatient examinations, totaling 13 million citizens. About 360,000 of our patients have undergone various surgeries and regained their health. ” Dr. Küçükcoşkun emphasized that Isparta City Hospital has become a health complex with significant interest from surrounding provinces, stating, “19.86% of our outpatient patients and 21% of our hospitalized patients come from outside Isparta. We will continue to serve our citizens tirelessly and without rest.”

“We serve approximately 10,000 outpatients daily in our hospital.”

Isparta City Hospital Chief Physician Opr. Dr. Ekrem Aytar stated that since the hospital opened, it has provided services in various fields such as outpatient treatment, emergency, inpatient, intensive care, dialysis, obesity, chemotherapy, and operating room services. He said, “Daily, we provide services to approximately 8,500 to 9,000 outpatients along with 700 to 800 emergency outpatient services, totaling about 10,000 outpatients daily. Our hospital performs daily surgeries ranging from 160 to 170, and nearly all of these surgeries, except for organ transplants, are conducted quickly, reliably, and efficiently. We do not have an organ transplant unit, but we perform all other surgeries.” Opr. Dr. Aytar also emphasized that Isparta City Hospital carries out surgical operations that are not performed in surrounding provinces and most centers, saying, “It has become a center where minimally invasive heart surgeries are performed, and surgeries are conducted with live video broadcasts from the operating room.”

“We serve our citizens with 345 physician friends.”

Chief Physician Aytar stated that 345 physicians provide services at Isparta City Hospital, saying, “We continue to provide services with approximately over 280 specialists, over 30 sub-specialists, and 55 general practitioners. After opening in 2017, it has become a treatment complex for surrounding provinces and districts. We have reached a position where approximately one-fifth of our hospitalized patients and outpatients are served outside the province. Surgeries for tumor operations, obesity surgeries, and various surgeries have become possible, and since health tourism has come to the forefront, patients from Turkey and even abroad come to our city hospital to receive treatment and safe discharge services.”

“We continue our work focused on patient satisfaction.”

Continuing his speech, Opr. Dr. Aytar stated that both outpatient and inpatient patients who have completed their treatments are evaluated regarding the service they received via phone, email, or SMS. He said, “With this feedback, we quickly implement whatever methods we need to provide better service, whether positive or negative. As a hospital, our main goal is to be patient-focused, patient-centered, and patient satisfaction-oriented. I can say that patient feedback constitutes the most important portfolio of the success we currently achieve. The fact that Isparta City Hospital has now expanded beyond the borders of Isparta and has become a serious treatment complex has increased our intensity and has been a significant source of satisfaction and honor for us. Treating patients from other provinces, districts, and regions here safely, ensuring their discharge, and providing them with peace and happiness also makes us happy. We continue to work with patient satisfaction in mind, providing the most luxurious environments in all areas, comparable to the best hospitality services.
