Visit of the ASATUF delegation to the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Cassation

The delegation of the Ankara Health Tourism Federation (ASATUF), led by Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay, paid an official visit to the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Cassation.

The Ankara Health Tourism Federation, which is a member of the Industrial and Trade Confederation (SANKON) and headquartered in Ankara, visited Chief Public Prosecutor Muhsin Şentürk. Speaking here, Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay stated, “We had previously paid a courtesy visit to congratulate you on your election to the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and provided information about the structure and activities of the ASATUF. We aim to cooperate in the field of health tourism between Turkey and countries around the world and to further enhance our country’s rising brand value in health tourism.”

Prof. Dr. Bay expressed that Turkey has shown significant developments in the field of health tourism in recent years, saying, “We want to host our patients and their companions coming to our country by collaborating in health tourism with thermal hotels and hospitals we have agreements with. We aim to assist with health issues. Regarding our work in alternative medicine, we also wish to promote healing herbs globally. As a result of the studies I have conducted in this field, I have been nicknamed ‘the professor of plants.’ Additionally, we are considering providing services to elderly tourists coming to our country through clinical guesthouses and geriatric treatment centers regarding the care and rehabilitation of elderly tourists. For this purpose, the Ankara Health Tourism Federation aims to organize online and physical business forums and conferences in the field of health tourism, with the support and contributions of the Republic of Turkey’s government and in cooperation with the embassies of world countries in Ankara, to contribute to health tourism in the upcoming period. Together with Turkish companies in the health sector, we will visit many countries with a large delegation and establish bilateral agreements,” she stated.

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay noted, “The Court of Cassation is a rare institution that judicially reviews decisions made by first instance courts fairly and justly. The Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Cassation is one of the most important units of the Court of Cassation. In this new period starting with the 2024-2025 judicial year, we wish for a year based on the rule of law, with the sword of justice sharp and the scales balanced.”

Chief Public Prosecutor Muhsin Şentürk expressed his gratitude for the courtesy visit, saying, “Thank you for your courtesy visit. The ASATUF delegation had also visited my office due to my election as Chief Public Prosecutor. I am happy to host you for a second time. The importance of civil society organizations is increasing in the modern world.
