SAMSUN (IHA) – The Mayor of Canik, Ibrahim Sandikci, stated, “We continue to raise generations that will advance the National Technology Movement with their talents and unique works.”
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacir visited the Canik Ozdemir Bayraktar Discovery Campus. During the visit, Canik Mayor Ibrahim Sandikci provided information to Kacir about the specially created discovery areas, workshops, and laboratories at the Canik Ozdemir Bayraktar Discovery Campus, emphasizing that the works are continuing at full speed.
Mayor Ibrahim Sandikci expressed that they are providing practical training to students alongside special education modules at the Canik Ozdemir Bayraktar Discovery Campus, stating, “We continue to raise pioneering generations in science and technology at our Canik Ozdemir Bayraktar Discovery Campus. We provide theoretical and practical training to our students alongside special education modules. With the help of our expert trainers, our students conduct experiments and observation studies. Through our education modules that include experiments, observations, and practical work, we enable our students to discover their talents and increase their interest in local and national works.”
The program held at the Canik Ozdemir Bayraktar Discovery Campus, hosted by Mayor Sandikci, was also attended by Samsun Governor Orhan Tavli, Chairman of the TBMM Planning and Budget Commission and AK Party Samsun Deputy Dr. Mehmet Mus, AK Party Samsun Deputy Ersan Aksu, Samsun Metropolitan Mayor Halit Dogan, Canik District Governor Seref Aydin, TÜBİTAK Science and Society President Omer Kökçam, and protocol members. The protocol members took a commemorative photo in front of the Akıncı TİHA, which is displayed permanently and uniquely at the Canik Ozdemir Bayraktar Discovery Campus.
