The Naim Süleymanoğlu Park, completed by the Arnavutköy Municipality, was inaugurated with a ceremony. The park, located in the Haraççı Neighborhood, spans a total area of 4,250 square meters, with 2,000 square meters allocated to green spaces and various social activities, making it a new meeting point for local residents. Equipped with walking paths, a football field, children’s play areas, fitness sections, a game area, picnic tables, and seating areas, the park aims to provide an enjoyable environment for visitors of all ages. The program was attended by Arnavutköy Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu, Arnavutköy District Governor Mahmut Hersanlıoğlu, district protocol, and many citizens. While children had a great time in the park, cotton candy and popcorn were offered.

“We have gifted our children with 5,000 square meters of area”

In his speech at the park’s opening, Arnavutköy Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu said, “First of all, I wish this to be beneficial for our neighborhood. We regularly meet our parks with our citizens every week. Today, we have presented our Naim Süleymanoğlu Park, which has an area of 5,000 square meters, as a gift to our children. As I say at every opening, we have entrusted this park to the youth and children of this neighborhood today, and they have accepted our trust.”

“We come here to have fun”

Furkan Çanaya, one of the children attending the opening, stated, “We always come here to have fun with our friends. I am very happy and joyful; I always use this place. They have made basketball courts, walking paths, football fields, and walking areas; it has turned out really nice.”
