As part of the events celebrating the 102nd anniversary of Kula’s liberation from enemy occupation, the famous artist Manuş Baba performed today, providing unforgettable moments for his fans in Kula. Thousands of Kula residents enjoyed the concert, which was staged with the support of the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality.
Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Architect Ferdi Zeyrek expressed his happiness to host Manuş Baba, who spent nearly 2 hours on stage delivering an unforgettable night for the people of Kula. He also stated his pride in experiencing the joy of liberation together with his fellow citizens on such a meaningful day. Emphasizing that the people of Kula deserve the best services, Mayor Zeyrek expressed that they would gradually fulfill all the services that Kula lacks in the upcoming service period and celebrated the 102nd anniversary of Kula’s liberation from enemy occupation. Kula Deputy Mayor Semra Gündüz, addressing the thousands of Kula residents in attendance, thanked Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Architect Ferdi Zeyrek and the mayors of surrounding provinces and districts for not leaving him and the people of Kula alone during the liberation festivities, which are a proud day for Kula. She also mentioned that they would experience the joy of liberation together with the people of Kula for five days and thanked the thousands of residents filling the area.
Furthermore, the 102nd anniversary events of Kula’s liberation from enemy occupation were attended by District Governor Ömer Ahmet Özdemir, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Architect Ferdi Zeyrek, Uşak Mayor Özkan Yalım, Kula Deputy Mayor Semra Gündüz, Alaşehir Mayor Ahmet Öküzcüoğlu, Turgutlu Mayor Çetin Akın, Soma Mayor Sercan Okur, Kırkağaç Mayor Üstün Dönmez, Gölmarmara Mayor Cem Aykan, as well as council members from Manisa Metropolitan and Kula Municipalities and protocol members.
The liberation festivities will continue tomorrow at the same time with a concert by Özlem Özdil.
