The 2024 TGF Turkey Under-18 Championship, organized by the Turkish Golf Federation, was played on September 3-4, 2024, at the TGF Silivri Golf Facilities in Silivri, Istanbul.

In the TGF Turkey Under-18 Championship, athletes who competed in the categories of juniors, stars, and miniatures participated in competitions held in the Aegean Region, Mediterranean Region, Marmara Region, and Anatolia Region starting from March, leading to their ranking in the overall classification list.

The championship, played over two rounds at the TGF Silivri Golf Course and TGF Silivri Academy Course, saw 90 athletes from Kemer Golf Club, Taurus Golf Club, Klassis Golf Club, Istanbul Golf Club, 19 Mayıs Samsun Golf Club, Ankara Golf Club, Ataşehir Golf Club, Antalya Bahçeşehir College SK, National GSK, Carya Golf Club, Bodrum Golf Club, AGGSK, Olympos Golf Club, Atayurt Sports Club, İzmir Golf Club, Cornelia Golf Sports Club, Infinity Golf Club, Sueno Golf Club, Albatros Golf Club, Moda Golf Club, Regnum Golf Club, Kuşadası Golf Club, Regnum Golf & Country Club Bodrum, and Regnum Golf & Country Club Ankara, along with a total of 80 athletes, including 34 in category A and 46 in category B for stars and miniatures.

At the end of the final round played in the juniors category of the 2024 TGF Turkey Under-18 Championship, Berk İpeker from Olympos Golf Club ranked first in the men’s gross with a total score of 148 (+4), Dara Muhammed Saf from 19 Mayıs Samsun Golf Club ranked second with a total score of 153 (+9), and Tuna Şahin from Ataşehir Golf Club ranked third with a total score of 154 (+10). In the girls’ gross, Ada Narin from Kemer Golf Club ranked first with a total score of 143 (-1), Erin Neva Yeniçelik from Ankara Golf Club ranked second with a total score of 147 (+3), and Bade Yalçın from Ataşehir Golf Club ranked third with a total score of 152 (+8).

In the junior boys’ category A, Ahmet Kuran from Klassis Golf Club ranked first with a total net score of 141, Dara Muhammet Saf from 19 Mayıs Samsun Golf Club ranked second with a total net score of 143, and Rüzgar Dengiz from Bodrum Golf Club ranked third with a total net score of 143. In the junior girls’ category A, Bade Yalçın from Ataşehir Golf Club ranked first with a total net score of 135, Zeynep Koç from Istanbul Golf Club ranked second with a total net score of 136, and Duru Taşkın from Klassis Golf Club ranked third with a total net score of 138.

In the junior boys’ category B, Ali Emir Uyar from Kemer Golf Club ranked first with a total stableford score of 84, Demir Özdemir ranked second with a total stableford score of 82, and Beyaz Bulut from Klassis Golf Club ranked third with a total stableford score of 80. In the junior girls’ category B, İdil Avcıbaşıoğlu from Ankara Golf Club ranked first with a total stableford score of 83, Defne Koç from Ataşehir Golf Club ranked second with a total stableford score of 83, and Sena Çakır from Atayurt Sports Club ranked third with a total stableford score of 79.

After the second round competitions held in the stars and miniatures categories of the 2024 TGF Turkey Under-18 Championship, Kutup Poyraz Alpbaz from İzmir Golf Club ranked first in the boys’ category A with a total of 48 stableford points, Kaan Demirkan from Moda Golf Club ranked second with a total of 47 stableford points, and Sertuğ Çavuşoğlu from National GSK ranked third with a total of 44 stableford points. In the girls’ category A, Dora Cınkılıc from Moda Golf Club ranked first with a total of 45 stableford points, Cansu Yapıcı from Olympos Golf Club ranked second with a total of 40 stableford points, and Eva Alp from Moda Golf Club ranked third with a total of 39 stableford points.

In the stars and miniatures boys’ category B, at the end of the two rounds, Çınar Efe Kapusuz from Bodrum Golf Club ranked first with a total of 49 stableford points, individual licensed Alen Babadoğan ranked second with a total of 49 stableford points, and Kaplan Arslan from Kuşadası Golf Club ranked third with a total of 42 stableford points. In the girls’ B category, Defne Bedir from Ankara Golf Club ranked first with a total of 44 stableford points, Asya Varol from Bodrum Golf Club ranked second with a total of 43 stableford points, and İmran Kandemir from Kuşadası Golf Club ranked third with a total of 43 stableford points, completing the championship.

After the final round of the 2024 TGF Turkey Under-18 Championship, the athletes who ranked received their awards at the award ceremony. The winners were presented their trophies by TGF Administrative Director Özgür Hacıbektaşoğlu and TGF National Teams Head Coach Assistant Çağatay Ural.
