President Özdoğan invited nature lovers to the Ortaseki Forests.

Hacılar Mayor Bilal Özdoğan, who offers alternatives for those who want to get away from the city’s crowds and spend time in nature, stated that the Ortaseki Forests have become a favorite spot for hundreds of nature and sports enthusiasts. Mayor Özdoğan invited all citizens to discover this unique natural beauty.

Speaking about the Ortaseki Forests, which he described as an alternative environment to escape the city’s hustle and bustle, Mayor Özdoğan said, “This is a place where our people can spend time in nature away from the noise of the city. Ortaseki Forests, which reveal their different colors and beauty in every season, have gained additional value in terms of tourism thanks to the guidance and promotional signs, rain shelters, observation terraces, and walking paths created as part of the eco-tourism project by the Regional Directorate of Forestry. For the last three years, when people hear Ortaseki, they say, ‘yes, this is in Hacılar, and yes, there is a natural beauty here,’ and it should be seen more.”

Mayor Özdoğan also stated that the municipality has organized many events for the promotion of the region, saying, “We know that recently both local and foreign tourists have come to this area. Ortaseki, which has a rich natural beauty, is particularly suitable for photography, nature walks, and camping. I invite all our citizens to this unique natural beauty.”

The responsibility for the Ortaseki Forests has been transferred to Hacılar Municipality under the ‘Erciyes Titrek Kavak Ecotourism Project Cooperation’ protocol signed between the Kayseri Regional Directorate of Forestry and Hacılar Municipality. With this cooperation, Ortaseki Forests have been transformed into a destination that can host nature activities throughout the year.
