Ali Çamdalı: “Every point in the league is valuable for us”

Konyaspor’s coach Ali Çamdalı, after the match where they drew with Kayserispor, said, “Every point is valuable for us in this league. If we look at it positively, we are trying to play a different game.”

In the 4th week of the Trendyol Super League, Konyaspor drew 0-0 at home against Kayserispor. After the match, Konyaspor’s coach Ali Çamdalı made statements to the press, saying, “My goal was to enter the national break with a victory, but unfortunately, we couldn’t finish with a win. I would have liked to send the fans who came here home happily and enter the national break with morale. Every point is valuable for us in this league. If we look at it positively, we are trying to play a different game. We conceded 7 goals in the last three weeks. At least we managed to stop that side. We didn’t concede a goal today.”

“There is a habit from last year among some of our fans”

Responding to the fans’ calls for resignation during the match, Çamdalı said, “We can talk about everything after the match, but for 90 minutes, the players need support. I’m putting myself aside. The fans can say anything to me; there is no problem with that. There is a place and time for this. Bad events started in the 30th minute. This situation can be demoralizing. We need to give our players morale and support. That’s all we want. Perhaps some of our fans have a habit from last year. I hope we can overcome this situation as quickly as possible. This doesn’t support us; it harms us. I hope we can come together quickly and especially express ourselves against the opponent in home matches.”
