In the 4th week of the Trendyol 1st League, Manisa FK drew goalless with Adanaspor at home. After the match, the coaches of both teams evaluated the game.

In the press conference held after the match, Manisa FK’s head coach Çağdaş Çavuş stated, “It was a week where we wanted to win the match. We knew that afterwards, we would be in a position where we could place ourselves much differently. Looking at today’s game, there was a group of players who tried everything on the field. We discussed both in terms of struggle and the scenarios we talked about before the match. We experienced all of it firsthand, and we had a lot of possession of the ball as the dominant team in the match, along with many entries into the opponent’s penalty area. However, we can say that today there were no goals in the game. We couldn’t finish the job with a goal. Additionally, missing the penalty turned the game into something that could have been very different. In the second half, we had an incredible turnaround, but we couldn’t convert the incredible goal-scoring opportunities. That’s why we left with a draw. This process is going positively for us. We are starting to create a nice unity with my group of players. I believe that I will see much more of this struggle and game strength in the upcoming weeks. We will rest, step away from football a bit, and I think we will refocus and continue beautifully in the remaining part of the season.”

On the Adanaspor side, Adanaspor’s head coach Francois Ciccolini said, “Today we earned 1 point. We managed to break a bit of the pressure on us. The first half was a balanced game. In the second half, we retreated a lot. Because of this, we gave a lot of opportunities to the opposing team. Technically, we need to become much more skilled and work harder. We dedicate the point we earned today to our coach Süleyman.”
