At the closing ceremony of the Summer Sports Schools in Elazığ, children welcomed Elazığ Mayor Şahin Şerifoğulları with chants of “Great Mayor.”
Mayor Şahin Şerifoğulları, who continues to support children through educational, social, cultural, and sports activities, attended the closing ceremony of the Elazığ Municipality Summer Sports Schools, which included 1,370 children in 5 different branches. The children, who had an unforgettable day playing football and basketball with Mayor Şerifoğulları, expressed their satisfaction by chanting “Great Mayor.”

After the ceremony, Mayor Şahin Şerifoğulları made statements, saying, “We are at the final ceremony of the summer sports courses we have organized in our facilities. We provided services to a total of 1,370 children under the supervision of our 25 trainers. Today, we gathered with our children and played basketball and football, sharing in their happiness. Throughout our term, we continue to contribute to the education of our children and youth and support them with social, cultural, and sports activities, preparing a better future for them. We are honored to be with our children and contribute to their development. I congratulate each child who participated in our course and wish them success in their educational lives. I also thank the families who sent their children to these free courses with trust.”

Mayor Şerifoğulları stated, “With the Sports Village and sports facilities that will be implemented within the framework of permanent works, we will provide children and young people opportunities to engage in sports not only in the summer but throughout the year. With our Sports Village project to be implemented in the Doğukent neighborhood and the sports facilities we have built in the Aksaray and Hicret neighborhoods, which include an indoor sports hall, a synthetic football field, and a tartan athletics track, we will continue to contribute to our children and youth in sports all year round. We are always committed to supporting our children and youth. We strive to contribute to our city in every aspect, from infrastructure to superstructure, from culture to art, to sports. We will continue to work tirelessly, without regard to time, together with our deputy mayors, department heads, and personnel to contribute to the development of our city.”
