Hacılar Mayor Bilal Özdoğan participated in the August 30 Victory Day events held with the participation of the provincial protocol and the public. In his statement here, Mayor Özdoğan said, “102 years ago we had a strong army; today we have an even stronger army and state.”

Hacılar Mayor Bilal Özdoğan attended the celebration program organized by the Kayseri Governorate in Kayseri Republic Square for the 102nd anniversary of August 30 Victory Day. The ceremony began with the laying of a wreath at the Atatürk Monument and continued with the acceptance of congratulations by Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek at the governor’s office. The celebration activities in Republic Square ended with folk dances, poetry recitations, and a parade.

Mayor Özdoğan emphasized the importance of August 30 Victory Day, stating, “Today, we celebrated our Victory Day with our citizens in Kayseri Republic Square with great enthusiasm. 102 years ago we had a strong army; today we have an even stronger army and state. God willing, we will continue to work with all our strength for an even stronger state and army tomorrow. We once again remembered how our beautiful homeland was saved from enemies and how victory was achieved in difficult days with unity and solidarity.”

Mayor Özdoğan concluded his speech by saying, “I would like to thank the Governorate for organizing this meaningful day and everyone who contributed. Happy 102nd anniversary of our Victory Day. May our nation and state endure. While we remember all our martyrs with mercy, I commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades with respect, mercy, and gratitude. May their souls be blessed.”
