Manisa is preparing for the International Vestel Manisa Half Marathon.

The preparations for the 3rd International Vestel Manisa Half Marathon, which will be held this year in cooperation with Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and Vestel, are ongoing.

A meeting was held at Vestel White Goods to discuss the current status of the preparations for the 3rd International Vestel Manisa Half Marathon and the work that will be done. The meeting was attended by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Ulaş Aydın, Head of the Press, Publication and Public Relations Department Zeynep Çetinkaya, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department Meliha Çavuşoğlu Kılınçlar, Head of the Transportation Department Hüseyin Üstün, Head of the Social Services Department Volkan Sert, branch managers, and officials from Vestel White Goods. The importance of the event in promoting the city, which will bring together international athletes as well as runners from all over Turkey, was emphasized during the meeting. All details of the marathon, which will take place on October 19-20 this year, were meticulously evaluated. The draft program was also discussed at the meeting. After the meeting, the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality delegation visited the Vestel White Goods factory.

About the Marathon

The International Vestel Manisa Half Marathon will be held on October 19-20, 2024. The events will include the 21K Half Marathon, 21K Team Race, 10K Race, 5K Corporate Race, 5K, and Children’s Race. Athletes who wish to register for the marathon can do so through the website https://www.vestelmanisayarimaratonu.com/. Individual participation is allowed in the 21K, 10K, and 5K courses; participation in the 5K Corporate Race requires a team of at least 5 people working for the same company. Children aged 2-12 can participate in the 500-meter Children’s Race. The 21K Team Race will consist of a team of 3 people, including at least one woman.
