Uşak Municipality has announced the programs for the 30 August Victory Day and the 102nd anniversary of Uşak’s liberation from enemy occupation. Uşak Municipality aims to revive the sense of national unity and solidarity among the people of Uşak with the Liberation Day events.

The Uşak Municipality has announced the programs for the 30 August Victory Day and the 102nd anniversary of Uşak’s liberation from enemy occupation.

In an effort to revive the sense of national unity and solidarity among the people of Uşak through the Liberation Day events, the Uşak Municipality has prepared a more detailed program compared to previous years. The program will feature a colorful parade with the participation of thousands of people, a theater play depicting the victory epic, a photo exhibition themed around liberation, and various activities that will convey the spirit of the national struggle.

Firstly, on Thursday, August 29, at 18:00, art enthusiasts visiting the Atatürk Cultural Center will have the chance to see the Uşak Meeting Painting Exhibition. For the Victory Day celebrations, after the events held at the Dumlupınar monument with the official protocol, the theater play depicting liberation will be staged at the Atatürk Cultural Center on Saturday, August 31, at 20:30. At 21:00, the people of Uşak will enjoy the magnificent performance of the City Orchestra at the 15 July Martyrs’ Square, and at 21:30, they will share the energy with a performance by Hatice Kunan.

On the final day of the events, September 1, the liberation parade will honor our city’s glorious history starting at 19:00. Following the colorful and crowded parade, a photo exhibition on liberation will open in Tiritoğlu Park at 19:30, opening doors to nostalgia. Music lovers will enjoy alternative music with the accompaniment of Group Birinci Kat at 20:30 in the 15 July Martyrs’ Square, and at 22:00, the energy will peak with the entertaining performance of the Turkish rock music band Necati and Saykolar.
