President Zeyrek promises bonuses to the fire department personnel.

Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Architect Ferdi Zeyrek presented certificates of achievement to the firefighting personnel who made great efforts during the forest fires that occurred in Manisa. Thanking the firefighters for their efforts, Mayor Zeyrek also announced a bonus.

Certificates of achievement were presented to the personnel of the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, who worked selflessly during the forest fires that occurred across Manisa. The certificate ceremony was attended by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Architect Ferdi Zeyrek, Assistant Secretaries General Ali Kılıç and Oğuz Murat Pınar, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department Head Gürhan İnal, branch managers, and firefighting personnel. During the ceremony held at the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, the certificates of achievement were presented to the firefighters by Mayor Zeyrek.

Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Architect Ferdi Zeyrek thanked the firefighting personnel for their work. Mayor Zeyrek stated, “You stayed awake for days, risking your lives to dive into the fire when necessary. I wish there were no such needs. Unfortunately, our lungs are burning sometimes due to climate change and sometimes due to the insensitivity of our citizens. Two months ago, we had given a small bonus from the Metropolitan Municipality Council. I will bring this up again in our council this month. I want to give you a bonus again. Because you did not consider working hours, and you did not make any requests. You worked tirelessly at night just to intervene in our burning forests. Some of you were on leave and came to the forest fire with your personal vehicles. You fully deserve this certificate and the bonus we will give because of this sacrifice. It is halal for you, just like your mother’s milk. This unity will continue, and hopefully, we will come together in good days. I thank you for your efforts. It is good to have you.”
