2 million TL was raised for Vezirköprü Belediye Spor.

A unity, solidarity, and support night was organized for Vezirköprü Belediye Spor by the club president Uğur Yıldırım and the management. The night, held under the slogan “Your city, your team,” received more than 2 million in donations.

The unity, solidarity, and support night for Vezirköprü Belediye Spor took place at the Vezirköprü Municipality Cultural Center Conference Hall, attended by Vezirköprü District Governor Özgür Kaya, District Mayor Av. Murat Gül, Youth and Sports District Director Mehmet Uyar, Agricultural Chamber President Aslan Kaya, former club presidents, board members, and many businessmen from Vezirköprü.

Club President Yıldırım, who gave a brief introduction about Vezirköprü Belediye Spor, said, “Our goal is to elevate our club to the amateur league and higher leagues; hopefully, we will work together and succeed.”

Mayor Murat Gül expressed that the municipality is always supportive of the district teams, stating, “When it comes to Vezirköprü, the flowing waters stop, and therefore I promise, on my behalf, that we will give the necessary support to our district’s team. We will work passionately in accordance with the needs of Vezirköprü Belediye Spor and bring our team to where it needs to be.”

In a speech during the night, Governor Kaya said, “If you asked me where I would come if I were to come again, I would answer Vezirköprü without hesitation. In this context, our district’s team is very important to us. Additionally, the development and needs of our young brothers playing football in the lower age categories of our district team are also very important. I am sure that the upcoming support for the club will benefit our young brothers as well.”

“Businessmen’s full support for municipal sports”

At the unity, solidarity, and donation night organized for Vezirköprü Belediye Spor, full support came from Vezirköprü tradesmen and businessmen. Businessman Uğur Vergili, who joined the night via phone, pledged a donation of 1 million lira to Vezirköprü Belediye Spor.
