In collaboration with Alanya Municipality and the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), the “Musical Sounds Rising from Historical Places” concert held at Kızılkule continues to receive intense interest from art lovers, with the aim of increasing cultural and artistic activities in Alanya and showcasing its historical and natural beauties. A projection screen was also set up on the ground floor of Kızılkule so that disabled and elderly citizens could comfortably watch the concert, which was held on the terrace area. On the first day of the two-day event, the Alanya Dost Meclisi Turkish Music Group performed, while the Karma Quartet met with art enthusiasts on the second day. The concert was attended by Deputy Mayors Murat Levent Koçak and Hasan Servet Ünlü, as well as Presidential Advisors Abdurrahman Açıkalın and Nazmi Zavlak. The event attracted great interest from many local and foreign art lovers, providing participants with an unforgettable musical feast.
The Karma Quartet, consisting of Violoncello Yusuf Çelik, Viola Sevinç Duran Yalaz, Violin Elif Ece Kaya, and Yunus Asilkan Çelik, performed pieces from important classical music composers such as Bach, Rachmaninov, Mozart, Goran Bregoviç, and Putz. Violoncello Yusuf Çelik provided brief information about the pieces and composers. The tango performance in the last piece of the concert drew great attention from the participants. The dance show was recorded on mobile phone cameras. After the concert, which was applauded standing, plaques were presented to the artists. The next concert will be held in the third week of October at Bedesten.
