Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) will support the Health Sciences Festival organized annually by Karabük University (KBÜ). With the prepared cooperation protocol, the aim is to elevate the festival to a national level.
A special cooperation protocol has been prepared between BUÜ and KBÜ. Academics and students from BUÜ will also contribute to the Health Sciences Festival (Healthfest) organized by KBÜ. The protocol was signed by KBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık and BUÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cafer Çiftci.
Rector Kırışık stated, “It will turn into a Turkey project.”
Speaking at the ceremony, KBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık emphasized that BUÜ is a highly developed and very successful higher education institution in the field of health. Reminding that the two universities have previously collaborated in different fields, Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık said, “With the protocol we signed today, we will be able to reach a wider audience with competitions and workshops in the field of health. Previously, we had signed an academic cooperation protocol for the Social Sciences Festival we organized between our universities. We are continuously developing our relationships. With the Health Sciences Festival, which we plan to turn into a Turkey project together with the universities we have planned as Karabük University, we want to develop innovative approaches, educational practices, and produce projects in the field of health.”
The cooperation will continue.
BUÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cafer Çiftci stated that one of the most important ways of academic development and growth is the cooperation between universities. Emphasizing that they have a strong health infrastructure as an institution, Prof. Dr. Cafer Çiftci said, “Our university has a strong staff with its Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Health Sciences Vocational School. With this protocol, we will continue to support Karabük University with all our academic staff. We believe that the scope of our cooperation will also expand in different areas. We hope that our protocol will bring good results.”
At the ceremony, BUÜ Acting Secretary General Mehmet Aydemir and academic and administrative staff were also present.
