Plant production supports for the year 2024 have been announced.

The decision regarding the support for plant production to be implemented in 2024 has been announced.
According to the Presidential Decision, there has been an increase in all items for diesel and fertilizer support compared to last year.
According to the decree, farmers will receive a support payment of 123 lira per decare for diesel and 62 lira for fertilizer, totaling 185 lira for barley, safflower, wheat, rye, triticale, dry beans, and oats.
The minimum support payment for fertilizer will be 35 lira per decare for products such as grain corn, dry onions, potatoes, olives, lentils, chickpeas, and those categorized as “other products.”
As in the previous year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will provide a support payment of 50 lira for soil analysis for every 50 decares of agricultural land, for land of at least 50 decares, to authorized Soil Analysis Laboratories.
A support payment of 40 lira per decare will be made for solid organic-organomineral fertilizer for the 2024 production year.
According to the Presidential Decision, the difference payment support for wheat, which was 1 lira per kilogram in 2023, has been increased to 1.75 lira in 2024. The premium support for barley, rye, oats, triticale, and chickpeas, which was 0.50 lira per kilogram last year, has been increased to 0.75 lira this year. According to the decree, the support for grain corn has been increased from 0.03 lira to 0.10 lira.
Last year, the difference payment for chickpeas, lentils, and dry beans was 0.50 lira, while this year it has been increased to 0.75 lira for chickpeas, and for dry beans and lentils, this support has become 1 lira per kilogram. The increase for chickpeas was less significant.
The highest premium is for oilseed sunflower. The difference payment for oilseed sunflower was announced as 1 lira per kilogram last year, and in the 2024 decree, it has been increased to 2.25 lira per kilogram.
In basins with water restrictions, an additional 50% support for chickpeas and lentils.
In basins identified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as having insufficient groundwater and water restrictions, an additional 50% support will be provided for chickpeas and lentils planted in the 2024 production year.
No support for certified seed use.
The support provided in previous years for those using certified seeds is not included in the 2024 decree. Last year, a support of 65 lira per decare was paid for the use of certified seeds for barley, wheat, rye, triticale, oats, and rice.
For oilseed sunflower, the certified seed use support was paid for the first time last year at 135 lira per decare, but this year it is not included in the decree.
Rent, transportation, and analysis support for products stored in licensed warehouses.
If agricultural products are stored in warehouses operating under the licensed warehousing law numbered 5300 dated 10/2/2005, rent, transportation, and analysis support payments will be made.
Support for forage crops.
The forage crop support, which was previously included in livestock support, has been included in plant production supports this year. In registered lands in the Farmer Registration System (ÇKS); for farmers planting perennial and annual forage crops for roughage production, a support of 180 lira per decare will be provided for perennial forage crops (irrigated), and 180 lira per decare will be provided for vetch, whether irrigated or dry. For dry plantings, an annual support of 120 lira per decare, for silage plantings (irrigated) 200 lira per decare, for annual forage crops (irrigated/dry) 120 lira per decare, and for artificial meadow pastures, an annual support payment of 300 lira per decare will be made.
