Onalars Food, a pioneer in the dairy products sector in Denizli for three generations since 1957, has opened its new concept store at the ‘Kasap ve Peynir Hali’ (Butcher and Cheese Hall) located in Bayramyeri Square. The grand opening ceremony was attended by numerous guests, including famous chefs.

Serving Denizli for three generations and being a leader in the dairy products sector since 1957, Onalars Food held a magnificent ceremony for the opening of its new concept store. Before the opening, well-known chefs Hazer Amani and Özlem Mekik, along with Turkish classical music artist Umut Akyürek, introduced Onalars Food’s unique flavors to the people of Denizli at a workshop event. Amani and Mekik were impressed with the lavatanlı, kahveli, and Antep fıstıklı cheeses produced by Onalars Food’s expert teams, and they did not forget to serve them to their guests. Umut Akyürek also gave a mini concert to the people of Denizli during the workshop, while guests congratulated Halil Alptuğ Önal, the third-generation representative of Onalars Food.

Business and Political World Present at the Opening
After the workshop event, the opening of the concept store at the ‘Kasap ve Peynir Hali’ in Bayramyeri Square took place. The opening was attended by Onalars Food Chairman Ali Önal, Halil Alptuğ Önal, and the Onalars Family; AK Party Denizli MP Nilgün Ök, Denizli Exporters Association President Hüseyin Memişoğlu, Denizli Chamber of Commerce President Uğur Erdoğan and Board Members, DEGİAD Chairman Kemal Sözkesen, Pamukkale District Governor Uğur Bulut, Pamukkale Municipality Zoning Director Nevzat Dikkat, NGO representatives, and prominent figures from Denizli’s business and political worlds, as well as many guests. After the speeches, the opening ribbon of the concept store was cut, and ‘Kubinek,’ specially designed by students of Hakkı Dereköylü Fine Arts High School, was introduced. Onalars Food Chairman Ali Önal stated, “The horn always surpasses the ear. Alptuğ has surpassed us as our third-generation representative. May God keep his path open.”

“This is a legacy for me, a cultural heritage”
In his statements during the opening ceremony and thanking the participants, Onalars Food Board Member Halil Alptuğ Önal said, “This is a legacy for me, a cultural heritage. I am proud to carry the legacy of a master who dedicated his life to this sector. We launched our Onalars 1957 concept store. This beautiful city needed such a lovely delicatessen. My team and I completed that missing piece here. There are amazing products inside. Rest assured, we have created many alternatives from breakfast to dinner. We have brought in both imported products and our R&D products. We invite everyone to taste these flavors at our new store opened at the Kasap ve Peynir Hali. We grew up in this market. Our culture is here. Therefore, we have put in a lot of effort to preserve this cultural heritage in this historic building and carry it to a different point for future generations. I would like to express my infinite gratitude to all of you for not leaving us alone here today.”

After the opening, Halil Alptuğ Önal provided information to guests in the concept store while serving delicious cheeses produced by skilled hands. Additionally, the bluefin tuna caught by Halil Alptuğ Önal was brought to life in the hands of chefs, while famous chef Hazer Amani did not forget to share kitchen tips with the guests. While Amani personally served the unique flavors, the guests witnessed an unforgettable day.
