President Büyükkılıç conducted inspections at the Argıncık Wholesalers Site, which has been renewed with 50 years of infrastructure.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç visited the Argıncık Wholesale Site, whose 50-year-old infrastructure has been renewed, and inspected the works on-site. Mayor Büyükkılıç stated, “The infrastructure, which is over 50 years old, is being completely overhauled.”

The Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts tirelessly to rid Kayseri of infrastructure problems and to bring it to a more livable level, diligently carrying out infrastructure services.

In this context, the Metropolitan Municipality is renewing the 50-year-old infrastructure of Argıncık Wholesale Site in cooperation with telecommunications and Kocasinan Municipality. Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç inspected the works being done there. During the technical visit, he was accompanied by Deputy Secretary General Ali Hasdal and department heads.

Büyükkılıç visited the tradespeople, engaged in warm and sincere conversations, and stated, “This is an important service center known as Argıncık Wholesale Site since the 1970s, used by our esteemed tradespeople of Kayseri. We appreciate, pray for, and value the understanding and value-driven approach of our tradespeople here.”

Emphasizing that the infrastructure, which is over 50 years old, has been completely renewed, Mayor Büyükkılıç continued his remarks:

“In this environment where those beautiful people are present, we know the needs of the infrastructure, both in terms of conditions and material quality, which is over 50 years old. Our Kocasinan Municipality is completely overhauling the infrastructure related to asphalt works, water, sewage, rainwater, electricity, and telecommunications services. Services are being provided with pipes that are technically sufficient and suitable for the conditions of the day.”

Büyükkılıç also gave the instruction to accelerate the works, saying, “We are aware that we are causing some discomfort; underground services can be a bit challenging, and what is done is not visible. I thank the valuable team of our Kocasinan. In terms of acceleration, we are also giving the instruction for the solidarity of our Kocasinan with our Department of Science.”

“You are the friend of the food suppliers and the sites”

Mustafa Aksoy, Chairman of the Kayseri Wholesale Food Suppliers Cooperative, described Mayor Büyükkılıç as ‘the friend of the food suppliers’, stating, “We are grateful for your presence. You have been the friend of the food suppliers and the sites since the beginning. We are aware of this. You are renewing the infrastructure that has been in place since 1970; it is challenging, but hopefully, it will be completed in a short time. We will have a modern marketplace. As food suppliers, we thank you for your efforts.”

Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç stated that they will also take action to make facade arrangements for the Argıncık Wholesale Site, saying, “Moreover, let’s improve the facade, let’s transform this place into a hypermarket; food suppliers have surpassed this, and our brothers from all walks of life are trading here. Let’s sit down in solidarity, provide a nice contribution, and visually say, ‘It really suits here.'”

Aksoy thanked and prayed for Mayor Büyükkılıç, saying, “If such a work is carried out, we will have a beautiful marketplace for our Kayseri. It will also be an achievement of yours.”
