Training continues in the magnificent atmosphere of Erciyes in the Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center, which operates under the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, in the morning and evening. Team managers conducting the camp describe the Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center as ‘wonderful’.

The Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center, which was brought to the city by the Metropolitan Municipality and continues to operate at an altitude of 1850 meters, meets many suitable criteria in terms of height and air quality, and continues to host professional football teams.

In this context, a friendly match was held in the evening between Niğde Belediyespor and Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor, which is currently training at the center.

“We Say We Are Glad We Came”

Before the match, Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor Coach İlhan Özbay made statements, calling Kayseri and the Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center wonderful, stating, “I played for Kayseri Erciyesspor between 2007-2009, and I was the team captain. Kayseri was a place I knew. I am currently the coach of Yozgat Bozokspor, which is my hometown.”

Özbay expressed his happiness for having such facilities in Kayseri, saying, “I am very happy that such a service has opened, and that there are such fields and hotels in Kayseri. Both in terms of proximity and the references we received from other teams led us to come here, and we are glad we came. I hope that, if God permits, we will prefer these places in the future.”

Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor won the match played in the magnificent atmosphere of Erciyes 1-0.

On the other hand, a friendly match also took place during the day between Kıbrıs Tremeşeli Holding Dumlupınar TSK and Karaman FK, who continue their preparations for the new season at the Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center. Tremeşeli Holding Dumlupınar TSK won the friendly match against Karaman FK 1-0.

Additionally, a friendly match between Osmaniyespor FK and Amasyaspor FK, who are also continuing their camps at the center, ended in a 0-0 draw.

U16 National Teams Tournament to be Organized

Continuing to host professional football teams preparing for the 2024-2025 season, the Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center is becoming a favorite of professional teams with its football fields, Olympic swimming pool, indoor sports hall that can be used as basketball and volleyball courts, and other facilities.

Moreover, on September 14, an U16 National Teams Tournament will be organized at the High Altitude Camp Center with the participation of the national teams of Turkey, Portugal, Denmark, and Romania.
