With the announcement of university placement results, students have started to research dormitories due to their more affordable costs. Mahmut Kemal Aydın, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the İhlas Foundation, provided information on the matter, stating, “Students staying in dormitories run by public benefit foundations like İhlas Foundation receive state assistance for nutrition and accommodation. We have more than 30 dormitories in Turkey. Students can take their families and visit our dormitories.”

With the announcement of university placement results, students have become anxious about accommodation. Students prefer dormitories due to their more affordable costs in the cities where they will register for university. Additionally, students staying in dormitories run by public benefit foundations/associations also receive state support. The new term dormitory applications of the İhlas Foundation have begun. Detailed information about the dormitories can be accessed at ihlasvakfi.org.tr.

Mahmut Kemal Aydın emphasized that the İhlas Foundation is a public benefit organization with a tax exemption certificate, stating, “Students staying in dormitories run by public benefit foundations like İhlas Foundation receive state assistance for nutrition and accommodation. Last year, this amount was 4,100 Turkish Liras, and we think it will be around 5,500-6,000 Turkish Liras this year.”

Recalling that the university placement results have been announced, Aydın said, “I congratulate all students. Right now, students are anxious about accommodation. Students coming to İhlas Foundation stay in triple rooms. The cost for one person is 10,000 Turkish Liras, but the government already covers half of it. In addition, they can have three meals a day. Besides that, students do not pay any fees for amenities such as internet, hot water, electricity, and natural gas, and they can benefit from these facilities. Additionally, students can study in the study rooms at any hour they wish. We have more than 30 dormitories in Turkey. Students can take their families and visit our dormitories.”

Aydın concluded his remarks by saying, “Students wishing to apply to our dormitories can check which dormitory they want to go to on our website. They can access all information through our web address ihlasvakfi.org.tr.”
