In the ordinary general assembly of the Anadolu Arastası Tourism Development Cooperative held in 2023, Nilüfer Mayor Şadi Özdemir stated that they want to complete the projects that will host many cultures during this period.
The ordinary general assembly of the Anadolu Arastası Tourism Development Cooperative, which coordinates the project that brings together Turkey’s cultural mosaic under one roof, was held at the cooperative building in the Balat neighborhood. In addition to Nilüfer Mayor Şadi Özdemir, representatives of hometown associations attended the meeting. In the ordinary general assembly meeting, the current status of regional houses belonging to the Balkans, Cyprus, and Caucasus, apart from Turkey’s 81 provinces, was shared with the representatives of hometown associations.
Mayor Şadi Özdemir emphasized that everyone needs to contribute to accelerate the project and highlighted the necessity of obtaining financial support. Noting that Anadolu Arastası is a high-cost project, President Şadi Özdemir stated, “The amount required to complete the project is 1 billion lira. Nilüfer doesn’t have the chance to use such a budget. Despite the limited budget, 400 million lira has been spent here so far. You all need to contribute a certain amount for this place as well. Let’s work together to bring this project, which has taken years, to life.”
President Şadi Özdemir also mentioned that they discussed the matter with Bursa Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Bozbey and said they would work to complete this project during this term with support from there.
