Çerçioğlu continues road construction works all around Söke.

The teams of the Road Construction and Maintenance Branch of the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality’s Department of Science Affairs continue their efforts to provide new roads to Söke and to renew existing roads.

The Aydın Metropolitan Municipality continues road construction works simultaneously across the city. In this context, the teams are continuing their work in the Güneyyaka Neighborhood while also carrying out activities in Kisir. In Özbaşı Neighborhood, they are conducting drainage cleaning and shoulder work.

“Such a service should not go unacknowledged”
After the flood disaster, the headman of Söke Güneyyaka Neighborhood, Ali Çıtak, stated that the roads of Güneyyaka were destroyed, saying, “Aydın Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu promised that they would rebuild these roads. So far, every request we have made has been fulfilled. Our road is currently completed. A total of 7 kilometers of road has been built here. After the flood, there was nothing left of the road. Everything has been redone as a result of a great effort. Such a service should not go unacknowledged. I would like to thank everyone who contributed, especially our Aydın Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu.”

“The public wants, Özlem president does”
Kisir Neighborhood Headman Aydın İnegöl expressed that a rapid road maintenance and repair work is taking place, stating, “In addition to the repair works, cleaning activities are also being carried out in our neighborhood. Also, the asphalt laying works between Kisir-Pamukçular are being completed soon. The public wants, Özlem president does.”

“She immediately started the works”
Emphasizing that his neighborhood is a farming area, Özbaşı Neighborhood Headman Murat Özevk stated, “Large vehicles pass through this road. We requested to prevent accidents. Our President Özlem did not turn us down. She immediately started the work. Currently, work is being done in an area of 6 kilometers. Therefore, this is very important for farmers. Currently, cleaning work is being carried out along the roadside. Afterwards, our asphalt will be reapplied. With the construction of this road, all possible accidents will be prevented. We are always by our President Özlem’s side and we support her.”
