Celebration program for successful karate practitioners in Tavşanlı.
Karate athletes from the Belediyespor Club, operating in the Tavşanlı district of Kütahya, will represent our country at the World Championship to be held in Italy. They achieved success in the Turkey U21, Youth, and Junior Karate Championship held in Sivas.

Karate athletes from the Belediyespor Club in the Tavşanlı district of Kütahya will represent our country at the World Championship to be held in Italy. A morale event was organized for the karate athletes who ranked at the Turkey U21, Youth, and Cadet Karate Championship held in Sivas.
The program, held at the Meteorology Social Facilities, was attended by Tavşanlı Mayor Ali Kemal Derin, his assistants Aziz Solmaz and İrfan Güleç, Provincial Director of National Education Raşit Küçükkağnıcı, Youth Center Director Mustafa Sert, YRP Tavşanlı District Chairman Abdullah Kul, AK Party District Chairman Himmet Özer, Tavşanlı Municipality Youth and Sports Services Director Kemal Kolukısaoğlu, Tavşanlı Belediyespor Club President Ahmet Göktürk, athletes, and their families.
Mayor Ali Kemal Derin presented flowers to the athletes who were announced one by one amid applause and wished them success. President Derin stated, “I am honored to be here with our young brothers and you, dear families. The success of our athletes makes us proud. Hopefully, they will bring even greater pride to the people of Tavşanlı along with you, their parents. As Tavşanlı Municipality, we will always be by their side. On the other hand, I would like to thank the coaches who work with dedication in training these young athletes. I firmly believe that our children will return from Italy with medals around their necks. I wish you success in your efforts.”
In Italy, Beril Nil Yüksel, Elizan Sağlam, Nimet Berra Karakuzu, and Asiye Atılgan will seek medals in Team Kata while wearing the national team uniform. Additionally, Yiğit Kunt achieved significant success as the Turkish third and selection second in the U21 men’s 63 kg Kumite category, continuing his career advancement over the past three years.
