In Iznik, planned works in 39 rural and 7 central neighborhoods are ongoing without interruption. The efforts of the Iznik Municipality, which reach from the center to the most remote neighborhoods, are also appreciated by the citizens. Recently, the teams of the Department of Science Affairs are continuing their work on new neighborhood parks, children’s parks, curbs, and paving stones in the district center. With the approach of the school opening, painting and maintenance works are also ongoing in these areas. In addition, stone wall works and construction of needed facilities in rural neighborhoods, wedding hall gardens, and land road works are also continuing. The teams of the Parks and Gardens Department are also carrying out mowing and cleaning works in the green areas of the district as summer arrives.

Seamless service network from the center to the countryside

Iznik Mayor Kağan Mehmet Usta stated that they have established a seamless service network from the center to rural areas. In his statement, he said, “Our planned works in 39 rural and 7 central neighborhoods are ongoing without interruption. We do not accept the concept of distance in our services; whatever we do for our nearest neighborhood, we carry out the same works in our furthest neighborhood according to their needs. This week, our teams from the Department of Science Affairs are working in every corner of our district. New neighborhood parks, children’s parks, curbs, and paving stone works, along with painting and maintenance works due to the approaching school opening, are ongoing in these areas.
