The historical structures in the village of Yeşiburç will be promoted for tourism.

The historical structures in Yeşilburç village, which attracts the attention of tourists with Niğde’s glass terrace, will be developed for tourism through upcoming efforts.
Yeşilburç village, located 5 kilometers from Niğde center, attracts local and foreign tourists with its walking trails, historical buildings within the village, and glass terrace. Niğde Governor Cahit Çelik, who conducted inspections in Yeşilburç village, stated that efforts will be intensified to give identity to Yeşilburç.

Standardization will be introduced for the houses in the village.
Governor Çelik noted that their aim is to elevate the village in terms of tourism, saying, “We will go out for a new tender to widen the walking path in Yeşilburç village. We also have efforts to preserve the historical identity of the village. There is a mansion belonging to our local administration, and as the Provincial Special Administration, we will restore it. This will also lead the way for others as a boutique hotel. On the other hand, we will mandate certain standards from the exterior paint of the houses to garden walls. Everyone who will build new structures will comply with this rule. We will also initiate a transformation process regarding existing structures. If our citizens help us, we want to give an identity to Yeşilburç,” he stated.
Governor Çelik expressed that Niğde was one of the places where Christians lived most densely during the Ottoman period, and that churches and historical structures from that time still stand and need to be preserved. He continued, “We will have efforts to reveal our historical structures that carry tourism value. Our request from our citizens is to comply with the decisions taken in this regard. We are working for the beauty and advancement of our homeland. Our sole purpose is to elevate our Niğde in terms of tourism.”
