The Minister of Youth and Sports, Osman Aşkın Bak, wished success to the national athletes who will compete in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Minister Bak emphasized that Turkey has frequently been mentioned for its achievements in Paralympic sports in recent years.

Minister Bak emphasized that Turkey has frequently made a name for itself in recent years with its successes in Paralympic sports, stating, “I wish success to our athletes and their coaches who will compete in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and who are part of this proud journey.”
The Paralympic Games, which are the Olympics for athletes with disabilities, will be held in Paris, the capital of France, from August 28 to September 8. Turkey will be represented by a record number of participants in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, with a total of 94 athletes, including 49 women and 45 men. The national team, consisting of visually impaired, physically disabled, and special athletes, will compete for medals in 15 sports. National athletes will represent Turkey in goalball women’s national team, visually impaired B1 men’s national football team, as well as shooting, fencing, weightlifting, rowing, table tennis, athletics, tennis, triathlon, judo, archery, taekwondo, swimming, and badminton.
