Binali Yıldırım Stadium will be upgraded to meet the standards of the 2nd League.

It has been learned that the stadium named after the last Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, Binali Yıldırım, located in the Efeler district of Aydın, has been approved for refurbishment to meet the standards of the 2nd League by the Sports Toto Organization.

An allocation of 48 million 250 thousand TL has been set aside for this important facility, which will be rebuilt to meet the needs of modern football. Comprehensive renovation works will begin at the stadium following the tender for the project. With this investment, Binali Yıldırım Stadium will be upgraded to host professional football matches. The stadium issue that arose after the demolition of the Adnan Menderes Stadium due to its earthquake vulnerability will also be resolved. This new facility is expected to make a significant contribution to the city’s sports life by offering high-standard sports events to both university students and the people of Aydın.

As part of the project prepared for the Binali Yıldırım Stadium, which will undergo a comprehensive repair process, the surface of the athletics track will be renewed, and the football field will be renovated using ready-made turf molds along with its infrastructure. Additionally, a steel grandstand with a capacity of 500 spectators will be built for visiting teams, stadium lighting will be completed, and the net fencing behind the goals will be renewed. Furthermore, the synthetic flooring inside the hall will be renewed, a new scoreboard will be purchased and installed, and a 6-meter high windbreak panel will be added to the north goal area. Elements such as a camera system, grandstand lighting, announcement system, directional signs, security barriers, and a medical room will also be added to the stadium. Dressing rooms will be arranged, the press table and protocol area will be renewed, and the seats will be replaced. Four portable toilets will be placed next to the grandstand, and infrastructure works will be carried out. Additionally, a total of 3 containers will be placed in the stadium area, one for the facility manager and staff use. On the other hand, it has been reported that funding for the renovation of Binali Yıldırım Stadium has been secured thanks to the efforts of Aydın Governor Yakup Canbolat, AK Party Aydın MPs, and Aydın Youth and Sports Provincial Director Cenap Fillikçioğlu in Ankara.
