The influx of visitors to the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality’s Traditional August Fair continues. With 11 days behind, the number of visitors has reached 450,000. All citizens are invited to the fair, which will continue until August 31.

The influx of visitors continues to the International Traditional August Fair, which was organized again after a 20-year hiatus under the leadership of President Fırat Görgel of Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality. The fair, which was opened on Friday, August 9, with great enthusiasm and excitement, has seen the number of visitors reach 450,000 after 11 days. The excitement and longing created by the fair’s reorganization, along with the diversity and richness of the offered activities, contributed to the fair attracting such great interest. Visitors are coming not only from the local community but also from neighboring provinces such as Gaziantep, Malatya, Hatay, Kayseri, and Osmaniye, making important contributions to the cultural and commercial life of the city. The Traditional August Fair has become not only a center of trade but also a meeting point for cultural and artistic events. Exhibitions of traditional handicrafts, tastes from local cuisines, concerts, theater performances, and various activities for children have provided visitors with unforgettable moments.

The fair will continue until August 31.
