The emblematic work of Melikgazi, the Çarşı Melikgazi landscape works have begun.

Melikgazi Municipality has started landscaping works after completing the “Çarşı Melikgazi” project, which will be one of the symbolic values of Kayseri and is the first of its kind in Turkey with examples found only in Europe.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that Çarşı Melikgazi, which is one of Kayseri’s signature works with its unique architecture and texture, will serve citizens without losing its function even after years and will be highly appreciated. He examined the works at Çarşı Melikgazi and said:

“One of the most important projects that will perhaps set an example for Turkey from Kayseri and Melikgazi is: Çarşı Melikgazi. It will be a beautiful place where shopping can be done for food, open seven days a week, where your guests will be welcomed in the best way, where they can buy fruits, vegetables, meat, and spices; even have meals and snack on appetizers. Our project, which has examples only in Europe, will be the first in Turkey. It is a beautiful project that befits Kayseri. The interior works are completely finished; now we are starting the exterior landscaping, hopefully. We want to inaugurate Çarşı Melikgazi together before the year 2025. Truly, with its texture and architecture, perhaps 50 years, 100 years from now, people will be shopping here and saying it is a beautiful work. The evenings will be beautiful, and the weekends will be beautiful as well. Çarşı Melikgazi will be a beautiful place where various events will take place, live music will be present, and there will be handicraft markets and natural product markets. We hope this will be beneficial for our Melikgazi, our Kayseri, and our country. We will invite guests from all over Turkey to the opening. This has become one of the most important symbols and signature works that befits Kayseri and Melikgazi. May God grant us to perform the opening together. May it be beneficial, insha’Allah.”
