Two parks from Şehitkamil to Kuzeyşehir

In line with the instruction of Şehitkamil Mayor Umut Yılmaz, work has begun simultaneously on two new parks in Kuzeyşehir.

Continuing his efforts with the slogan “Now More Green Şehitkamil,” Mayor Umut Yılmaz is working tirelessly to rapidly increase the amount of green space in the district. As part of the efforts aimed at creating a greener Kuzeyşehir, the construction of two new parks has started with a large team.

Mayor Umut Yılmaz stated that their goal is to increase green areas in the district to ensure that citizens live in healthier and more social environments. He emphasized that they will continue to take determined steps to increase the amount of green space in the district.

Fitness, walking paths, seating areas
One of the parks to be built in Kuzeyşehir will have a total area of 6,800 square meters. This large area will include spaces for various activities that people of all ages can benefit from. To encourage outdoor sports, a fitness area will be included in the park. Additionally, a 464-meter-long walking path will be built around the park, providing an excellent area for morning runs and evening walks. The park will also feature seating areas for relaxation and social activities, designed for citizens to enjoy their time in nature.

Children’s playground, football field, seating areas
The second park to be built in Kuzeyşehir will have a total area of 3,900 square meters. This park will include a children’s playground where children can expend their energy. The playground will be equipped with modern and safe play equipment. Additionally, a football field, which will be indispensable for youngsters and sports enthusiasts, will be located in this park. There will also be seating areas where citizens can comfortably sit and chat.

Our parks will feature walking paths, children’s playgrounds, sports fields, and resting areas.
