The metropolitan municipality’s campaign ‘Chickens from Us, Production from You’

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç continues to stand by the producers. In this context, the Metropolitan Municipality has implemented another initiative to support agricultural and livestock production, launching the ‘Chickens from Us, Production from You’ campaign aimed at women producers.

By providing significant support to rural producers through projects such as seeds, tractors, bees, and small livestock, the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality under Mayor Büyükkılıç contributes to the economy of both the city and the country, as well as family economies. The municipality has added another project that has made a nationwide impact. The campaign, presented as the ‘Project for the Promotion of Free-Range Egg Production in Kayseri’, will begin accepting applications on Monday, August 12, 2024.

The target audience for the highly requested project is ‘women producers’.

In response to high demand, under the instructions of Mayor Büyükkılıç, the Agricultural Services Department of the Metropolitan Municipality has designed a campaign for Free-Range Egg Production, which will benefit only women producers aged 18-55 living in the rural areas of Kayseri. The support campaign aims to increase egg production in rural areas and provide economic benefits.

A total of 10,000 chicks will be distributed to 1,000 families, with each family receiving 10 chicks.

For women producers wishing to benefit from the project, detailed information can be obtained by dialing 0352 222 69 73 and entering extension 2566. Applications for the campaign will begin on Monday, August 12, 2024, and will end on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 17:00.

The application conditions for the campaign are as follows:

“Applicants must be women producers living in the rural areas of Kayseri and aged between 18 and 55 (only women producers can apply). Women producers who meet the conditions must apply online via https://basvuru.kayseri.bel.tr/, at the white desk, or by visiting the Agricultural Services Department of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. If there are too many applications, a lottery will be held for distribution. (Only one person from each family can benefit.) Those who are entitled to receive laying hens will be required to pay a contribution fee of 500.00 TL.”
