A ceremony for the distribution of sports equipment aimed at Special Education Schools was held in Denizli as part of the “Sports Love Knows No Boundaries” project, coordinated by the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and the Provincial Directorate of National Education.
The second phase of the project, which was launched by the Presidency in May 2022 under the slogan “Sports Love Knows No Boundaries,” continues in Denizli. The project started with the distribution of 30,000 sports equipment to 1,000 Special Education Schools in 81 provinces, and a program was organized at the Kınıklı Sports Hall as part of its second phase.

Under the “Sports Love Knows No Boundaries” project, which aims to increase the opportunities for special individuals to engage in sports, sports equipment was presented to 6 schools serving as Special Education Schools in Denizli. The specially produced sports equipment for various disability groups includes many products such as treadmills, training sets, balls, step boards, slalom sets, nets, pilates sets, gymnastics mats, climbing walls, and table tennis sets. Speeches were made regarding the importance of the project during the program attended by the Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, Ömer İlman, and the Provincial Director of National Education, Dr. Emre Çalışkan.
Emphasizing the significance of the project, which was realized with the contributions of the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the leadership of the Presidency, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Ömer İlman drew attention to the healing power of encouraging special individuals and youth to engage in sports. İlman stated that this project has expanded the opportunities for special individuals to participate in sports and added that they will continue to provide all kinds of support for special children to be involved in sports.
Provincial Director of National Education Dr. Emre Çalışkan mentioned that the two institutions have achieved beautiful works together, and they have always collaborated with the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports as a sister institution, from school sports to talent screenings and in such beautiful projects. Çalışkan noted that engaging in sports contributes to positive changes in the lives of special children and thanked those who contributed to the project.
