Fenerbahçe Club President Ali Koç and Board Members visited Istanbul Governor Davut Gül at his office.

As part of the new term presidency visits, President Ali Koç and the Board Members of Fenerbahçe first met with Istanbul Governor Davut Gül at his office. After the visit, which took place in a friendly atmosphere, President Ali Koç presented a Fenerbahçe jersey with his name on it, which he signed, to Istanbul Governor Davut Gül. Following a group photo taken in front of the governor’s office, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül and our President Ali Y. Koç made statements to Fenerbahçe Television regarding the visit.

Emphasizing the athletes sent to the Olympics by the yellow-navy blue club, Governor Davut Gül said, “The valuable President of Fenerbahçe Sports Club and the Board of Directors visited us. First of all, we thank them. We wish success to the new administration. Fenerbahçe Sports Club is the locomotive of Turkey and our Istanbul. Hopefully, with their sporting success, both our city and our country will go to better places. They have made significant contributions to the Olympics. I hope our country participates in the Olympics with more athletes, and Fenerbahçe contributes even more. I hope our athletes going to the Olympics return with better achievements. I wish success to all members of the administration, especially our President Ali.”

Thanking Governor Gül for his support, President Ali Koç said, “We thank our Governor for accepting us. We came for a good luck visit with our new Board of Directors. Throughout our time working together, our Governor has done everything he can for the needs of not only Fenerbahçe but all sports clubs and has acted very sensitively. Thank you very much. The demands and troubles of the clubs never end. Whenever we have asked our Governor for something, he has always done his best for us. If you have any instructions, we are always ready for you. Thank you for accepting us. We also want to host you at a match as soon as possible.”
