AGD Kayseri Branch President Sahin: “We will fight against the Zionist scoundrels on every platform in a manner worthy of the sacred memory of Ismail Haniye.”

In a press statement organized by the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Kayseri Branch due to the martyrdom of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniye as a result of an assassination in Iran, AGD Kayseri Branch President Yusuf Sahin stated, “We will fight against the Zionist scoundrels on every platform in a way worthy of the sacred memory of Ismail Haniye.”

The press statement held at Burungu Mosque was attended by AGD Kayseri Branch President Yusuf Sahin, the association’s management and members, representatives of civil society organizations, and citizens. After the recitation of the Quran, AGD Kayseri Branch President Yusuf Sahin stated that they would fight against the Zionists on every platform, saying, “This morning, in Tehran, the capital of Iran, where the new president elected to replace the assassinated Iranian president was holding his oath ceremony, the symbol of Palestinian resistance, Hamas Leader Ismail Haniye, was martyred as a result of a missile attack by Zionist Israel. Ismail Haniye had said when three of his children and three of his grandchildren were martyred by the vile Zionists in the last days of Ramadan, ‘The blood of my children is no more valuable than the blood of other mujahids; my Lord has granted me the gift of being a martyr’s father on the blessed holiday of Ramadan, what more could I ask?’ Rest assured that those who martyred you will not live longer than you. Your life has ended, but your struggle will not end until Gaza is freed from oppression, until Al-Aqsa Mosque is liberated, and until an independent Palestine is established. The martyrdom of the great commander and revered leader Ismail Haniye, whom we refer to as the ‘Father of Martyrs’ because of his family and closest ones being sacrificed to his Lord, marks a significant turning point. As students of a school that does not lose martyrs but gains them, we know very well that Ismail Haniye’s martyrdom is not an end but a tremendous beginning. The terrorist Israeli regime has achieved nothing by martyring Ismail Haniye, but the esteemed commander Haniye has attained the martyrdom status he longed for and awaited. A movement whose leaders are martyred can never be defeated. Although it has martyred Sheikh Ahmed Yasin, Abdul Aziz Rantisi, Saleh Arouri, and many other precious sons, the Palestinian struggle, which is unshaken and rather grows and takes root in hearts, will not be defeated today either. Those who want to intimidate us with death should know very well that we are in love with martyrdom. We are the descendants of Sultan Alparslan. We are the children of Fatih.”

Sahin stated that they would not cease fighting until they see the day the Islamic Union is established, saying, “In one of his speeches, Hamas leader Ismail Haniye had used the expression, ‘We are walking to Jerusalem with millions of martyrs,’ emphasizing that the warriors of this cause are not solely on the earth’s surface. Today, we know very well that our esteemed commander Ismail Haniye will continue to fight for the freedom of Jerusalem and all of Palestine in the martyrdom status he has attained. We, as the youth of Anatolia, pledge that we will fight against the Zionist scoundrels on every platform in a way worthy of the sacred memory of martyr leader Ismail Haniye. We will not stop for a moment. We will not give up for a moment. We will consider every position we are in as a front against the Israeli regime. We will never retreat from these fronts. We will hold tightly to our cause for Jerusalem and Palestine, which has become even stronger with Ismail Haniye’s martyrdom. Today is not a day of mourning. Today is not a day of suffering. Today is a day of struggle and resistance. Today is the day to unite and pledge against the Zionist Israeli regime and all its collaborators. Here, we also want to address our esteemed President and the leaders of Muslim countries. If we all unite and spit, Israel will drown. Shake yourselves and wake up. Do not make Christians and Jews your friends. Set aside the artificial divisions among you and unite against Zionist Israel. You cannot truly believe unless you love one another; and unless you believe, you cannot enter paradise. First, as Muslims, love one another. Love so that the greatest obstacle to unity is removed. When Muslims truly love each other, the issue will be resolved at its root. If this love exists, the seeds of discord will dry up, everyone will understand each other correctly, and hearts will unite. When this unity occurs, Muslims will lean on one another, grow together, and strengthen together. At that time, the world will be greater than five, and a new world based on justice will be established. At that time, as our teacher Necmeddin Erbakan said, we will strike such a blow to Israel that all of Gaza will pass before their eyes. O Muslims, each of us is responsible for stopping these Zionists as far as we can; we will work with all our strength and will never back down from fighting until we see the day the Islamic Union is established.
