Meteorology General Directorate weather forecasting expert Cengiz Çelik evaluated the weekly weather for an İHA reporter. In his statement, he said, “Looking at the coming days, temperatures will gradually rise by a few degrees. Temperatures will exceed the seasonal norms slightly. Rainfall will only be present in the Eastern Black Sea region now.”

“The weather will mostly be clear”

Cengiz Çelik, the weather forecasting expert, reported that there will be intermittent showers in the Eastern Black Sea region over the next week, stating, “These rains are particularly expected to be strong on Wednesday, especially in the eastern part of the Eastern Black Sea, near the coast. Other than that, we do not expect rainfall in our western inland and southern regions throughout the week. The weather will mostly be clear. Temperatures will be around seasonal norms.”

Caution between 11:00 and 16:00

Indicating that temperatures will be above seasonal norms in the coming days, Çelik advised, “We recommend that our citizens living in the southeastern region, especially elderly citizens with chronic illnesses, avoid going outside between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, or use accessories like hats and umbrellas if possible.”

“We do not expect any rainfall in Ankara for the next three days. The highest temperatures will be between 30-32 degrees, but by the weekend, temperatures in Ankara will rise above 35 degrees. In Istanbul, there is a short-term rain expected only in the northern parts on Wednesday. Aside from the rainfall transition, we do not expect rain in Istanbul either. The highest temperatures in Istanbul will also be around 30-32 degrees. We do not expect any rainfall in Izmir. The weather will be slightly cloudy.
