Kenan Kodro is at Gaziantep FK

Gaziantep Football Club has signed Bosnian forward Kenan Kodro, who last played for Ferencvaros, on loan.

Gaziantep Football Club reached an agreement with the club and the player for the loan of Kenan Kodro, a forward from the Bosnia National Team who wore the Ferencvaros jersey. The new transfer, 31-year-old Kenan Kodro, officially signed the contract at a signing ceremony attended by Club President Memik Yılmaz.

Who is Kenan Kodro?

The star striker, born in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain, started his football career in the youth system of Real Sociedad. Standing at 1.88 cm, Kenan played on loan for CD Lagun Onak in 2012 and transferred to Osasuna in 2014. The successful striker, who has also played for clubs like Copenhagen and Athletic Bilbao, has made a name for himself with his strong physique, dominance in aerial duels, and finishing ability. Subsequently, he wore the jerseys of Real Valladolid, Fehervar, and finally Ferencvaros, appearing in 356 matches throughout his career, scoring 94 goals, and providing 17 assists. In the last three seasons, the star player has celebrated goals 48 times and has worn the Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team jersey 15 times, scoring 2 goals.

The Gaziantep team announced that they have signed Spanish defender Enric Saborit, left-back Stephan Bitok, and finally Bosnian forward Kenan Kodro throughout the day.
