Foot volleyball tournament in Antalya in honor of legends

In collaboration with the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and the Antalyaspor Friends Association, a Foot Tennis Tournament was organized in honor of Antalyaspor legends Yarkın Böke and Öner Gülyanar, under the motto “People Should Be Remembered While They Are Alive”.
The 9th Antalyaspor Friends Association Foot Tennis Tournament, held in honor of Yarkın Böke, who is identified with the number 7 jersey, and Öner Gülyanar, who is identified with the number 3 jersey, started at the Beach Park Tennis courts. The opening of the tournament organized in cooperation with the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and the Antalyaspor Friends Association was colorful.

Cheers for the Legends
The Antalyaspor fans filled the court where the matches of the tournament, organized under the motto “People Should Be Remembered While They Are Alive,” were to be played, welcoming Yarkın Böke and Öner Gülyanar with applause and cheers. After the fans, energized by the cheerleader Recep Güler (Miloş), cheered for minutes, the two football legends greeted their fans and loved ones hand in hand, expressing their gratitude for this beautiful organization held in their honor. In the opening match of the tournament, Şimşek Spor, led by last year’s champion former Antalyaspor player Yusuf Şimşek, faced the Rixos Bysan Hairdresser team.

“We Welcome Football Fans”
Nurettin Tonguç, Head of the Youth and Sports Services Department of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, expressed his satisfaction with the event organized in cooperation with people who have served sports in Antalya for many years. Tonguç stated, “This tournament is held every year to honor different Antalyaspor legends. This year, we wanted to honor two legends at once. We invite all football fans in Antalya to come here.”

Final on August 14
The matches of the tournament, organized at the Beach Park Tennis Courts between July 29 and August 14, will be played on weekdays from 21:00 to 23:00. In the tournament, which includes 12 teams, each team consists of 4 players, and these teams will compete in 2 groups of 6. The final of the tournament will be held on August 14.
