ERÜ Rector Altun visited the Preference Counseling Stand

As part of the “Preference Counseling” days organized by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Career Center, Erciyes University (ERÜ) continues to provide counseling support to candidate students. ERÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun visited the booths that attracted great interest from candidate students and their families.

During the YKS preference period, counseling support is provided to candidate students at the Hunat Hatun Madrasa, where information about ERÜ’s faculties, vocational schools, and social opportunities is given at the booth, and questions that students are curious about are answered by expert staff. The Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Career Center will serve from July 25 to August 2, and ERÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun visited the booths of Erciyes University, Kayseri University, and Nuh Naci Yazgan University, chatting with candidate students and their families at the ERÜ booth and providing information about the University to visitors.

Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun invited students to visit the booths set up at the Hunat Hatun Madrasa before making their preferences and thanked the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, and municipal officials for the organized event. Emphasizing that a great opportunity was provided for students who will make their preferences by all universities in Kayseri at the booths, Rector Prof. Dr. Altun stated that it is beneficial for students to obtain information directly from universities before making their preferences.

Rector Prof. Dr. Altun stated the following:

“Preference periods are a process that will affect the lives of our students. The decisions they make during this period are very important. After making their preferences in a healthy way, I hope they will strive to progress in their chosen fields while loving their professions. We always advise our students to love the profession they will have. I wish them success in the professions they will choose.”
