Bus stops in Isparta are being modernized

Isparta Municipality has renovated the bus stop under the old bus station, which is heavily used by students and citizens, making it air-conditioned and modern. Faruk Daşdöner, the President of the Isparta Private Public Bus Cooperative, thanked the Mayor Şükrü Başdeğirmen for modernizing the bus stop.

After Mayor Şükrü Başdeğirmen took office, bus stops at different points in the city were modernized during the previous term. Many stops were enclosed, and a modern stop was built in Kaymakkapı Square. The Isparta Municipality continues its renovation works to modernize the bus stops. In this context, the bus stop under the Old Bus Station, which is heavily used by students and citizens, has been renewed and modernized. While the old bus stop in the area was dismantled, an air-conditioned, secure camera-equipped enclosed bus stop was installed for the comfort of citizens. With the new enclosed bus stop now in service, students and citizens will not be affected by the summer heat or winter rain and cold while waiting for the bus.

Isparta has gained modern stops

Faruk Daşdöner, the President of the Isparta Private Public Bus Cooperative, reminded that since the first day of Mayor Şükrü Başdeğirmen’s term, efforts have been made to enclose bus stops, and a very modern bus stop was built in Kaymakkapı Square. He stated that a similar bus stop to the one in Kaymakkapı Square was built in place of the bus stop under the old bus station, which is heavily used by students and citizens. “A comfortable bus stop has been built with heating and cooling. The new stop is highly appreciated by our citizens. This stop is heavily used by students from SDÜ and ISUBÜ and our citizens. Making this place more pleasant has created great satisfaction. This stop suits our Isparta very well. On behalf of our tradesmen and passengers, I would like to thank our Mayor Mr. Şükrü Başdeğirmen for providing this stop to our Isparta,” he said.
