The youth camp in Denizli continues
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality continues with the second term of the Mathematics, Physics, and Chess Youth Camp organized specifically for high school students. The young people have expressed that they really enjoy the camp, which combines science, culture, sports, and entertainment.

The youth expressed that they really enjoy the camp, which combines science, culture, sports, and entertainment, and it was noted that registrations for the 3rd term of the camp are still ongoing.
Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu announced that the second term of the ‘Mathematics, Physics, and Chess Youth Camp’, where young people meet science, culture, sports, and entertainment for five days, has started. In the second week of the camp, 40 high school students were sent off to the renewed camp area at Cankurtaran Picnic Area by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Ali Marım, Youth and Sports Services Department Head Ayşe Sarıkaya, and their families. The young people, who were sent off from Delikliçınar Square, reached the camp area, which is surrounded by nature at an altitude of approximately 1200 meters, early in the morning. The goal is not only for the youth to have a productive holiday but also to broaden their horizons in mathematics and physics during the five days of meeting with science, culture, sports, and entertainment.

The students who completed the first term of the youth camp expressed their satisfaction and thanked Mayor Çavuşoğlu for the camp: 10th-grade student Duru Damacı stated that she really liked the camp, saying, “I thank our Metropolitan Mayor very much for organizing this camp. Our program at the camp is very full. It is not overwhelming. The priority is given to our fun and learning.” Ezgisu Eloise Doğu also mentioned that the camp has been quite nice and fulfilling, saying, “Here, we both socialize and learn new information. I thank our Metropolitan Mayor for organizing such a camp.” Nevagül Atik noted that the camp has been both fun and rich in content, expressing, “We are never bored here. This was a camp we experienced for the first time, and it is going wonderfully. It would be great if it continues.”

Selim Epik shared that he thought he would be bored when he arrived at the camp, but he was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it was. Elif Pelinay Ceylan stated, “We encountered a facility that is much cleaner and much nicer than we expected. It has been great for socializing as well. The facility has many amenities. I thank our Mayor for providing us with such an opportunity.”
The camp, where science, sports, culture, and entertainment come together and every moment is filled, has new term registrations ongoing on the official page of the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, and the youth will enjoy various activities prepared for them over the five days. In addition to having a productive holiday, the camp aims to broaden the youth’s horizons in mathematics and physics, with activities such as interviews, research meetings, recitals, astronomy and sky observation, orienteering, drama, theater, sports, painting, cartooning, and cinema also organized.
