The YKS preference marathon continues at GençBüs

Başiskele Municipality continues to provide free guidance and consultancy services to students to make the right university and department choices by achieving successful scores in the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS).
After the YKS exam, university candidates have now entered the preference marathon. The Başiskele Municipality, which stands by the university candidates from Başiskele, is supporting young people this year, just as in previous years, during the preference period, which will take place between July 25 and August 2.
Students who achieved successful results in the exam and are undecided about which university and department to choose receive support from expert guidance trainers in GençBüs, which travels throughout the district during the preference process.
Accompanied by expert guidance teachers assigned by Başiskele Municipality, GençBüs will be on the roads from the first day the YKS preferences begin. According to the schedule published by ÖSYM, GençBüs’ first stop on the first day of preference operations was Barbaros Neighborhood Square on Thursday, July 25. Successful students who want to benefit from the Municipality’s YKS Preference Service received support regarding the right university and department choice according to their scores, together with their families.
GençBüs, which will provide service at 9 different points in Başiskele during the YKS preference period, served university candidates in the park area of the Türkiye Yüzyılı Youth Center on Friday, next to Başiskele Municipality Social Facilities Antique Meatball Café and Restaurant on Saturday, and next to Verzirçiftliği Mosque on Sunday between 14:00 and 21:00.
Students and parents who benefited from the free guidance and consultancy service, accompanied by tea and coffee, thanked Mayor Yasin Özlü and his team.
