The HÜDA PAR delegation reacted by blocking the road where 4 people were killed

HÜDA PAR Batman Provincial Organization, led by Batman Deputy Serkan Ramanlı, protested last night by blocking the road where 4 people died after a wedding, in response to the lack of precautions despite warnings. The delegation later went to the courthouse and filed a complaint against those negligent in the accident, calling for urgent measures to prevent new accidents.

Last night, near the Batman-Siirt Ring Road, a pickup truck hit pedestrians attempting to cross the road after a wedding ceremony. In the accident, 4 people from the same family, including a baby, lost their lives, and 2 others were seriously injured.

After the accident, HÜDA PAR Batman Deputy Serkan Ramanlı, along with Provincial Chairman Davut Şahin and party members, blocked the road where the accident occurred.

Deputy Ramanlı poured crimson paint on the road to draw attention to the frequent fatal accidents in the area. Later, in a statement, Ramanlı demanded urgent measures to prevent further loss of life on the road.

Recalling the accident, Ramanlı stated, “We lost 4 of our citizens, including 2 children. We have been calling for years for the improvement of this road and the illumination of the median. Today, we closed this road for this reason. We say enough is enough. We do not want our blood to be shed anymore. We do not want our people to die. It is not difficult to take precautions here. On the contrary, it is very easy. We want this road to be fixed as soon as possible.”

Ramanlı expressed, “We call on everyone, from all ministers to general directors, from governors to their chiefs, to focus on this issue, to leave their work behind, and to do everything they can to rectify this dangerous road.”

Ramanlı and his companions then went to the courthouse to file a complaint against those negligent in the accident.
