President Özdoğan is alongside everyone from 7 to 70

Hacılar Mayor Bilal Özdoğan stated that they are always by the side of citizens in need throughout the district and that they strive to make the elderly feel that they are not alone by providing food services to their homes and, as much as possible, meeting some elderly citizens’ housing needs in the district.

Mayor Bilal Özdoğan’s ongoing initiatives, which he started in the previous term, are receiving full marks. He is making efforts to support the elderly in need by meeting their cleaning and meal needs at their homes and allowing some needy citizens to stay in 50 square meter apartments in urban transformation projects owned by the municipality, striving to make them feel that they are not alone.

Regarding the matter, Mayor Özdoğan stated, “We only provide usufruct rights to the citizens using these apartments. We have allocated the apartments we own from urban transformation to our elders as much as our resources allow. Supporting our elders is one of the points we take pleasure in. After a certain age, dealing with a stove, firewood, and coal is really very difficult. There are those who live alone and those who have spouses. When they come and say, ‘May God bless you, my child,’ it is very valuable for us. This is actually what municipal administration is about.”

Mayor Özdoğan emphasized the spiritual satisfaction of being a mayor, saying, “We undertake these projects for the reward and spiritual satisfaction of this work. Otherwise, being a mayor doesn’t make a difference whether it’s Saturday, Sunday, morning, or evening. You need to be present at a wedding you are invited to. You should express condolences for a funeral you hear about.”
