Isparta Mayor Şükrü Başdeğirmen attended the 27th Pişi Day organized by the Yeşilada Education, Culture, and Health Foundation (YEKSAV) this year. Emphasizing the importance of unity and togetherness, Mayor Başdeğirmen stated, “We will try to make our Eğirdir much more beautiful together, increasing its visibility and bringing many guests from outside the city and country here.”
The 27th Pişi Day was held in Eğirdir District of Isparta by the Yeşilada Education, Culture, and Health Foundation (YEKSAV). The program was attended by Isparta Mayor Şükrü Başdeğirmen, Eğirdir Mayor Mustafa Özer, Isparta Deputy Mayor Özler Erdoğan, Provincial General Assembly Member Mehmet Fesçi, and many invited guests.
Pointing out the importance of unity and togetherness, Isparta Mayor Şükrü Başdeğirmen expressed that they have always participated in this Pişi Day as a family. Mayor Başdeğirmen said, “Every year when we see this unity and togetherness, we are extremely pleased. I thank the management of YEKSAV and my brother Ethem for providing us with these beauties. Since YEKSAV was established, whenever there has been someone in need or in a difficult situation, they have always been there for our students and patients. If we can contribute to this, that makes us very happy.”
Mayor Başdeğirmen mentioned that they recently met with Ispartans living in Istanbul, stating, “We had the opportunity to experience such a beauty there as well. We want to continue this unity as a tradition. Our Eğirdir Mayor has taken on a new role. I know that it is my duty, as well as yours, to support his authority and efforts, ensuring he provides the best service. Together, we will try to make our Eğirdir much more beautiful, increase its visibility, and bring many guests from outside Isparta and the country here. Hopefully, this unity and togetherness will lead to good things. I congratulate everyone who contributed to these efforts and wish you continued success.”
At the Pişi Day organized by YEKSAV, citizens were offered refreshments, and there were performances by a military band and folk dance shows.
