The ‘Eastern, Southeastern and Black Sea Region Civil Society Meeting’ and ‘1st Turkic World Organizations Meeting’ held in Malatya with the participation of 7 countries and 32 provinces was attended by the EBYÜ ACAR Youth Club representing Erzincan province.
The ‘Eastern, Southeastern and Black Sea Region Civil Society Meeting’ and ‘1st Turkic World Organizations Meeting’ event has begun, lasting for 3 days.
Before the events, the EBYÜ ACAR Youth Club visited Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kızılay to provide information about the accredited search and rescue team’s activities and projects, which is a first in Turkey under the AFAD umbrella.
Following that, EBYÜ ACAR Youth Club Erzincan Provincial President Ferhat Kılıçlı provided information about the event during visits to the provincial governor’s office and the commodity exchange.
Kılıçlı stated, “Different NGOs from each province were invited, and our governor of Erzincan, Hamza Aydoğdu, deemed it appropriate for us to attend the event. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our governor Hamza Aydoğdu, EBYÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Levent, and our AFAD Provincial Director Cengiz Çavuş. We are working to provide training for disaster and emergency situations and to raise volunteer individuals. Our goal is to encourage young people to be more active in education, sports, culture, and projects, and to help them express their ideas without fear or hesitation, thereby contributing to the formation of a forward-looking youth.”
