Sultangazi Municipality’s inspection teams carried out inspections on stone quarries that the district residents complained about due to environmental pollution. After the inspection, Deputy Mayor Çiçek stated that the stone quarries not complying with the regulations were warned, saying, “What is important for us is the health of the people of Sultangazi.”

Sultangazi Municipality is carrying out all efforts to alleviate the grievances of the district residents in areas within its authority. The inspection teams checked whether the stone quarries operating in the district complied with the license conditions and working conditions. Sultangazi Deputy Mayor Fatih Sultan Mehmet Çiçek also participated in the inspection. Warnings were issued to the businesses that did not meet the necessary conditions. The companies were once again warned to minimize the environmental pollution and discomfort caused by the stone quarries in the region. Additionally, during the inspection, it was determined that a previously sealed workplace was operating illegally. Our municipality has repeatedly issued fines and warnings regarding this place. We are issuing a final warning regarding this business.
